These are the work horses of the Sardine Run, they dive on the main shoals of sardines and bubble net them to the surface where the other marine animals can then feed on the tightly packed "Bait Balls" typically in one Bait Ball we will witness – copper sharks, dusky sharks, cape fur seals, common dolphins and diving from the air Cape Gannets.
