Sardine
Run South Africa Photographic Tour

17th June to 26th June 2008 - 9 nights
Join us to witness one of the wonders of the natural world "The Annual
Sardine Run" up the East coast of South Africa.
Described "As the greatest range extension of any living creature on
the planet" This rush of literally billions of sardines, each year attracts
predators in their thousands. Imagine the gathering of twenty
thousand common dolphins, forming lines sometimes a hundred miles across.
Five thousand bottlenose dolphins, tens of thousands of Cape Gannets, and
thousands of sharks. Add to this animals ranging from Brydes whales
to game fish, and you are presented with a marathon feast of huge proportions.
This will be Tony Whites 7th year at the Sardine Run in 2003 A film documenting
Tonys work here was commissioned and shown By the National
Geographic Channel both in the USA and Internationally. It is with this
experience he can offer the following with confidence.

event, who has played host to David
Doubilet, Doug
Perrine and both the BBC Wildlife and National Geographic film crews in
the past years. Our destination will be flexible depending on the position
of the sardines at the time.
